CSH's 1st NEW YORK SUPPORTIVE HOUSING INSTITUTE (SHI)

Join us for an inspiring evening as we proudly introduce CSH's signature training initiative, the Supportive Housing Institute (SHI), to New York State. This groundbreaking training program is designed to empower development teams with the tools and expertise needed to create transformative supportive housing projects that will reshape our state’s landscape.

Celebrate New York’s first-ever SHI with us at the Mezzanine located in our new headquarters office building at 55 Broadway. This is more than just an event—it’s an opportunity to be part of a movement that will increase equity in the development field and drive the future of housing solutions in our state. During the launch event, you'll have the chance to connect with trailblazers and visionaries who are leading the charge in New York’s supportive housing field, celebrate our new national headquarters and New York office, and support flexible capital grants for the development projects of the emerging developers in our NY Institute.

The NY SHI aims to increase equity in the development field by convening teams that include emerging housing developers, homeless service providers, healthcare professionals, property managers, and other key stakeholders for monthly training sessions and individualized technical assistance. In this program, they will learn how to better navigate the complexities of developing housing with supportive services, streamline the process to secure funding, and improve project planning, development, and execution.

Don’t miss the opportunity to network with leaders in the New York housing and homelessness sector, housing development fields, and city & state government, including but not limited to HCR, MOCJ, HPD, and HRA.

The proceeds from this event will directly support flexible capital grants for the development projects of the emerging developers in our NY Institute.
